Hawker Siddeley produced some of the UK's best selling airliners, including the HS.748. They also manufactured the Trident which didn't quite match the sales of the rival Boeing 727. Nicknamed 'Gripper' the Trident in its various versions was never going to fare well on the world stage...but it is one of the most eagerly awaited 1:400 scale models - so HS must have got something right!
